Joseph A. Impellizeri, D.V.M., D.A.C.V.I.M., M.R.C.V.S.

Dr. Joseph Impellizeri is a 1994 graduate of Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine.  He completed a small animal medical and surgical internship at Colorado State University in 1995.  After five years in small animal primary care and emergency medicine, he completed an ACVIM oncology residency program and became a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology) in 2005. 
 
Dr. Impellizeri holds a Visiting Scholar position in the Department of Biology at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and heads the Barrymore Center for Advanced Cancer Therapeutics with progressive cancer treatments including Electrochemotherapy and Cancer Immunotherapy Trials.  He is a consultant for Antech Diagnostics.  When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys the outdoors with his family and coaches soccer, basketball and lacrosse for his 3 children.
